April 4, 2009 - University Club breakfast and Freo ride

Details of the ride are:

1. Need to rsvp to me by COB Thursday (or to the University Club on
6488 8770 or www.universityclub.uwa.edu.au). I've tentatively booked for six and need to call with final numbers.

2. Start at Maylands 7:30 and Narrows 8:00

3. Cycle down to Canning Bridge, then u-turn and head to UWA by about 8:45.

4. Buffet breakfast at University Club costs $15. This is what's on their web site:
Breakfast includes: cereals, Harvey Fresh yoghurt, fruit, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, hash browns, grilled tomato, Harvey Fresh orange juice and tea or coffee. I suspect there may be English muffins and French pastries, but don't know for sure.

5. Cross fingers and hope to win the two mountain bikes.

6. Then cycle down to Freo on north an back on south (possibly stop in Attadale for coffee on return leg?)

Cheers,
Terry

Welcome to the new Ride_Group blog

Welcome to the new Ride_Group Blog!!

Q. Why a new blog?
A. In the past the Ride_Group blog could only be added to or edited by me. I've decided to "Open it up" so that other members (and only other invited members) can add their own new blog items or comment on existing blog entries.

Q. I'm so used to finding entries on the old blog. How will I find the new blog?
A. Firstly ...... I will leave the old blog in place for a while with a link to the new one.
Secondly...The address for this new blog is easier to remember.

Q. Can I add new blog entries or comment on an existing blog entry?
A. Yes. If you're a member of the Ride_Group and you've been invited to. That is the whole point of this new blog!!
